A Nursery with Lasting Appeal

Nothing can be more fun as selecting nursery furniture. But, with so many available styles and pieces for every baby need, it's easy to go into showroom shock. Here, the designers list their top three baby furniture essentials that will provide many years of use:
- Convertible Crib: One of those great baby inventions like disposable diapers and pop-up wipes, the convertible crib serves Baby's sleep needs from birth through the teen years. "There are now convertible cribs that are three pieces of furniture in one," says Cooper. "They convert to a daybed/toddler bed and then to a full size bed. The furniture designs are simple yet functional and come in finishes of white, natural wood and cherry."
