Favale's babystyle favorites include the babystyle Best Black Dress with 3/4-length sleeves, a sculpted neckline, thin suede tie and side slits. She also highly recommends the Spirograph Skirt. "I loved the skirt because it was amazingly comfortable and was also stylish, with a cute ruffle and great material," Favale says.

Gap and Target

Christina Zaybekian, who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and now the mother of a baby boy, had an easier time finding maternity fashions that fit, and found her solutions at the Gap and Target. "Overall, I didn't have any problems finding clothes, but before I was pregnant I was a size 10/12 and those sizes tend to have longer inseams anyway," she explains. "The bigger issue I had is when I was in the 'in-between' stage, during which I wore a lot of my pants unbuttoned or with a safety pin. I was about four months pregnant, and I had a very senior manager at my company comment that my pants were too short. It was hilarious, because I had rigged up a safety pin/elastic band combination to keep them up!"

Zaybekian's favorite company was The Gap, specifically a black wool suit. "It was very comfortable, and I wore it for work almost every day with a different top," she recalls. "I also bought a lot at Target because it had more inexpensive options for casual shorts and T-shirts."
