Heading Toward the Finish Line
Pregnant and Loving It

That feeling of extreme happiness came to me again when my husband's two aunts threw the most unbelievably perfect shower for us. All along, they planned on giving me a very "girly" luncheon. If I had only known that my husband wanted to come. (And this is the person who could barely come to our wedding shower because he was uncomfortable being the only man around so many women!)
The shower was held at one of his aunt's homes, and it was just lovely – everything was perfect from the food to the weather. My family and friends were all there – everyone whom I've known since birth, from my first friends in life to my friends from high school. It was such an incredible feeling to be surrounded by so much love and enthusiasm about the arrival of our baby.
And then to see my husband helping me unwrap gifts and taking photos the entire time. His excitement was boundless and it truly touched my heart. This little baby is going to have one amazing father. And I thought he was just excited about playing catch with him and coaching Little League. Who knew that he would also want to be such an integral part of a baby shower!
