Making Sun Protection Fun

I have found that it's a fact of life that our kids are going to be in the sun, be it at soccer practice, the park, the beach or just playing in the backyard. Our children rely on us to protect them from the pain of a sunburn as well as the long-term effects of sun exposure. My mother continually struggles with recurring skin cancer, and according to the American Cancer Society, one severe sunburn as a child doubles the chance for skin cancer later in life. This is a very real issue that we must face together with our families.
