I had a cold, and was also three or four days late. I went in to work but ended up leaving early. I stopped by the store to get soup, medicine and, what the heck, a "test." When I came home, my husband was sound asleep from a long night's work, and I took the test. To my surprise it was positive!

So I went ahead and took the second one in the box. Positive. I ran into the room where he was sleeping and showed him the test, and told him the good news. All he said was "Are you sure?" I told him yes, we are finally gonna have a baby. He dozed back to sleep.

I left the tests on the bathroom counter. Still being sick I laid down on the couch and went to sleep. He woke up shortly after and went to the bathroom to find both tests on the counter. I awoke to him on his knees in front of me teary eyed, smiling and covering me with kisses. All he could say was, "I wasn't dreaming."
