My husband and I have just been married four months. We now have two daughters from my previous marriage who are 12 and 5. We had already decided that we'd try to conceive a honeymoon baby. Every month since we got married I would anxiously wait but was slightly disappointed when I'd get my period. My husband said that we'd be blessed with a child soon, hoping he wasn't the problem since he'd never fathered any children.
One day when I went to the groceries I decided to take a pregnancy test three days prior to my period. I got home and I put up the items and quickly took the test. I'd already taken almost six tests hoping to conceive shortly after our honeymoon, but had not succeeded. This time, I was getting ready to trash the test without wanting to look but I glanced at it when I discovered two pink lines.
My husband had worked the night before so I decided to wake him up and share the great news. He was so shocked and still half asleep that he still slept an hour more. When he woke up with his alarm clock that's when he asked me if he had been dreaming or was it true that we were having a baby. I said, "Yes, you're going to be a daddy!" We are all so happy now.
