Some pregnant women have the luxury of taking time off from their careers, but other women may need to work or simply enjoy working during their pregnancies.

Job and interview coaches have mixed opinions about whether a pregnant woman should try to hide her pregnancy.

Ana Abraham, a mother of two from Wesley Chapel, Fla., felt she had to get out and get a job when she was pregnant with her first baby. "My husband had lost his job as a programmer," she says. "Everything bottomed out. Neither one of us had a job so I had to look. I was 6 months pregnant when I got the job. I tried to hide it during the interview."

While some jobs require manual labor or may expose a pregnant woman to harmful chemicals, etc., Abraham worked as a software development project manager. But during the interview, she was asked whether she planned to have children. Experts say prospective employers should not be asking questions about your family or personal life during an interview. She was honest and said, "Yes."
