Chinese Birth Gender Chart

An ancient Chinese method to determine baby gender

According to legend, the Chinese birth gender chart is based on statistics taken from women inside the Forbidden City during the Ching Dynasty. Around 700 years ago, a Chinese scientist discovered the birth gender chart buried in a royal tomb. The original gender chart is now kept in the Institute of Science of Peking. Supposedly, it's 99 percent accurate!

Note and disclaimer: This birth gender chart gives values only for women who were between the ages of 18 and 45 when they conceived. This gender chart is for entertainment purposes only. Pregnancy Today assumes no responsibility for predicted results.

Gender selection is a hot topic, and so are silly prediction methods. The following formula makes some pretty impressive claims all over the Internet, so, just for fun, we decided to make it available to those of you who are trying to conceive, or for those of you who want to predict the gender of the baby you're carrying right now. You can also check past conceptions, if you are sure about the month and your age at the time of conception.

Some of the Internet sites that house the Chinese conception chart make claims about its origin and accuracy rates. But, legends tend to get stretched as time wears on, so we will post what we've heard and let you decide if it's believable or not:

"This chart is a statistic chart from the women inside the emperor's forbidden city during the Ching Dynasty."

"A Chinese scientist discovered this chart which was buried in a royal tomb about 700 years ago. The original is kept in the Institute of Science of Peking. The accuracy of the chart has been proven by thousands of people and is believed to be 99 percent accurate!"

That's a pretty high success rate! Of course, we don't believe it could possibly be that high. Still, we'd love to know if this prediction method worked for you.

Oh I really hope this is wrong lol. I was told at 17 weeks it was a boy and than had another sonogram at 31 weeks and they said it was a little girl. The doctor checked in his office and said he is pretty sure it is a girl. I went out and bought alot of pink stuff and if it is really a boy I hope he looks good in pink lol
