How much does your baby weigh? And how does that weight compare to other babies? Our baby weight calculator determines your baby's percentile and offers a general idea of potential future growth. Will your baby be stocky like Mom or tall and thin like Dad? Find out now!
Calc is bang on.... my 2 1/2 month on is 15 lbs 6 ounces and shows 96th percentile.... Same as the doc just said. People need to fed their babies if there 4months old and only 11 lbs.
Agreed, calc is not right. Put in 15lbs and 15 oz and got 46th % and then 16lbs and 1 oz was 36%.
This calculator is not right I put in 11 lbs 4oz it said 1% then I put in 11 lbs 15oz and got 0% for a 4 mo old.
This results are inaccurate based on data tables on which the calculator is supposedly based. Instead, go to http://www.cdc.gov/growthcharts/charts.htm. The site also support metric system.
This calculator seems to be approx. the same as what my ped. tells us. However, please note that the US standards have recently come "under fire" because they reflect a large proportion of formula-fed babies. Breastfed babies generally weigh less than their formula-fed counterparts and this is considered a "healthier" and more accurate comparison tool. I believe the WHO has constructed a percentile diagram using those measurements and several drs. (esp. those that are big proponents of BFing) are using those measurements. This could account for the discrepancy.
