I was really excited when my sister revealed she was pregnant. She already had a son, my nephew Joseph, who is now 2 1/2 years old. Anyway, my sister's due date was February 8, and I woke up and was really excited because I thought the baby was going to come on that day!
The 8th came and went! By this time she was really fed up and so was I. I just wanted the baby to hurry up. I was so excited to meet him! (She found out she was having another boy.)
So another week went by after her due date and I was getting more and more fed up waiting for him to arrive. My mum was ringing her every day to see if she had any pains or anything, but her reply was always "no, nothing yet."
On February 16, exactly eight days after her due date, it was a really nice, sunny day, so we sat out in the garden. We were talking about the baby and how we wished he would hurry up. I kept putting my hand on her belly and the baby was kicking like mad!
