It was Easter weekend and my partner of five years and I were on holiday. I started to get a sore stomach on the Friday. The tummy ache was different than any other I had had and it didn't feel like period pain.

I knew straight away that I was pregnant – what a shock! I had been told by two doctors years before that we couldn't have children so we had almost given up.

Come the next working day, the Tuesday, I went to the medical center and sure enough we were pregnant, but what surprised me the most is we were only 10 days pregnant! I now tell people that I'm very much in touch with my body.
