On April 1, I was driving my car home. While driving, a strong gush of water leaked through my pelvis. I knew I was in labor, but my baby's due date was April 15.
I called the hospital, and they needed half an hour to reach the highway. So I stopped a car, which had a nurse dressed in uniform. The nurse quickly stopped her car and rushed down. The nurse told me that I was lucky because she was a labor and delivery nurse.
After that the contractions got stronger and stronger. Suddenly my body had a harder urge. The nurse told me not to push, but the baby was crowning. After 10 minutes, the ambulance came. By that time my baby's head was almost out. After five strong pushes, I delivered my baby in the ambulance. I named my newborn baby RuiXi. I think having a labor and delivery nurse by my side was an arrangement by God.
