The most pregnancy-crazed thing I did was go off on my poor father when he stepped on my kitten. He was taking a computer monitor downstairs (very heavy) and my looney kitten decided to walk right under him. Well, he couldn't see her, so the next thing you know, I hear yelling.
I didn't know what happened until he tells me to come downstairs. She's just sitting there, not moving. He said he'd stepped on her whole body with all of his weight and she rolled down the stairs. Instead of me asking my father if he was OK (he could have been hurt bad had he fallen) I yelled at him and was ready to cry.
I took the cat upstairs talking about needing the vet and then crying because the vet was closed. I didn't sleep all night until morning I noticed her move around. She'd only been in shock. So I apologized to my poor father later that day. He had felt so bad.
