I'm 9 months pregnant, and sleeping has become a real hassle. I have my 10 pillows on the bed to help support every strained body part. Heaven help my husband if he touches a single one of them.
It had been another sleepless night of tossing and turning. I was up every half an hour to empty my 2-teaspoon bladder, then back to bed where I had to maneuver all of the pillows to form my perfect support team.
My husband has the nerve to ask me at 3 a.m., "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," is my reply. "I just can't get comfortable to sleep."
He lovingly reaches over and pats my belly, then whispers into my ear, "Don't worry, you're on the homestretch. A few more weeks and you'll never sleep again."
