I'm 5 months pregnant with my second son. The thing is, my first son is already 17! This pregnancy was a surprise, but I believe everything happens for a reason. Things sure are different this time around. The first time I was 18 years old, a single mom on welfare in an abusive relationship, going to school to obtain a career and basically broke.

This time I'm 36 years old, in a serious relationship with a great guy, a registered nurse in charge of an adolescent psych unit and making pretty good money. One thing remains the same though. I'm scared! Will I be a good mom? Am I too old? Will I remember how to do this? I'm trying to have faith. God has a plan.
