In March 2001, I decided to stop taking the pill, not in hopes of getting pregnant, but just because I was being dumb, I guess. Anyway, in August of that year my boyfriend of eight months proposed to me, and we were going to get married. So by then I decided without him knowing that I wanted to try to have a baby. I had been off the pill for five months. He knew that though! So it wasn't like he didn't know what could happen.

Well, after months of buying pregnancy tests thinking I was pregnant over and over again, I kind of gave up right before Christmas 2001 and decided that for my New Year's resolution I was going to go on a diet and lose some weight finally! Well, so much for that, because when it came time for my period in January 2002 it didn't come. Only four days late, I took two pregnancy tests and they both came back positive.

I had the most beautiful little girl in September of 2002. I fell in love for the first time. You really do fall in love. Even my husband can't believe how much he loves her. We love her so much that we already want to try for No. 2. She's 8 months old now. It took me eight months to get pregnant with her, so I kind of want to start now so they will be close in age. Still not sure though!
