My name is Nikki, and I'm a 21-year-old married mother of a beautiful, sweet and smart little girl named Nileena. She is 4 1/2 years old. I'm also expecting my second child in less than four weeks. It's a boy!

To start, I want to let you know I grew up with my father who was never home, and I saw my mom on the weekends. She was on lots of drugs. She left me in a daycare at 3 years old and never returned. That's how my dad received custody.

To make a long story short, she died of AIDS at the age of 29, which was in 1997. Very young. I was 14 and devastated. Even though she wasn't there for me, I had a great love for her, and I don't hold anything to her. In my eyes, she was just a weak soul, and like me, she grew up without her mom. And instead of starting a new road, she followed her mom's.

Now as for me, I grew up very fast, and I moved out of my dad's home at 14 with my boyfriend who was five years older than me. We are married today, and it is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I had dropped out of school, and he talked me into going back. It was an early completion program, which I did finish and received my high school diploma. We married when I was 16. My dad gave consent. He loves Willie. I also unexpectedly got pregnant. I was devastated, but I never believed in termination so I had my little girl. From the day I laid eyes on her, I've been so in love. I don't how my mom left me.
