I am about 6 weeks pregnant. I have noticed that I blow up at my fiance for the littlest things and then immediately feel a tidal wave of guilt, which of course turns me into a puddle of tears.

My boyfriend works full-time as a mechanic, usually 10 to 12 hours a day. His job is very physically demanding. My job is to sit in a chair for four hours and sell subscriptions to the local paper. Not demanding whatsoever.

One Friday night I got off an exceptionally boring night of work. Usually Friday night is cruise-around-town night for me and my guy. But on this night he was tired and simply wanted to go to bed.

Well, I took this as a personal insult. "What about me? I'm pregnant; you're supposed to pay lots of attention to me! I just had a long day, and all I want to do is spend some time doing something with you and all you want to do is go to bed. You don't understand what it's like to be pregnant and have to deal with all of this."

I cried myself to sleep that night. The next morning I cried some more because I knew how insanely selfish I'd been. However, when I discussed it with my fiance, he found it very amusing.
