The love of a mother for her child since the moment that she finds out that she is pregnant is so strong that inspired me to start writing a book. I have not only experienced this love as a proud mother of two young children, but also as an obstetric ultrasound specialist who visits with expecting parents on a daily basis.

Every day my heart is overfilled with joy when I hear the loving expressions for the unborn baby. The parents-to-be are often so curious and enthusiastic about seeing the very first glimpse of their unborn baby that I often find myself going overboard with my explanations of the ultrasound images. In order to help every pregnant mother to ensure having the best quality ultrasound examination of their developing baby and to help them understand the ultrasound images, I decided to gather all of my personal and professional experiences in an easy-to-read book and exclusively write for and dedicate it to the expecting parents. Above all, in this book I was able to provide the answers to many of their frequently asked questions as well.

I knew that it was not going to be an easy job especially with a full-time job, two young children and a new puppy and my disk problem with my back! Well, after long hours of research and writing late at nights, I finally achieved my goal and the book has just been published. There is no other feeling greater than being able to be helpful in some way, some how and somewhere to an expecting couple that has so much love for a new baby. After all I am a mother myself!
