I took the birth control pill because everyone was telling me it was the "responsible" thing to do. So there, I did it, and it lasted only a month because by then I had decided that even if we were not married yet, we were ready to bring a child into this crazy world!

So on the day I decided to tell him, this happened: We went to dinner, took a drive like we do most nights and then I told him! Stupid me! He almost drove us off the road 'cause he couldn't stop laughing. He said, "You're joking right?" And I told him no, so he stopped the car, got out of the car and started yelling, "OH MY GAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWD!"

He came back to the car, drove home and we had our first "trying to make a baby" moment! We've been trying (and having fun!) since April 1998.
