Then what's an Amazon.com Associate?
Amazon.com have set up the associate program to help market their books. The idea is for website owners to present books in a specialized category/ies, depending on the site's existing audience or interests of the site owner.

Is there any pricing difference?
None at all. We charge exactly what Amazon.com charges. (And vice versa.)

So is their pricing competitive?
Amazon says they offer consistently low prices, and discount hardcover and paperback bestsellers a full 40 percent. Other featured titles are discounted 10 to 30 percent. Other books (including paperbacks) are 10 percent off the publishers' prices, except for textbooks and hard-to-find books. See here for more.

Isn't paying over the web risky?
