25 weeks!!! 15 to go!!!!

Ahhhhhh, Montana. I didn't realise how much I missed it until we got back. Jon and I are TOTAL city people, but I would rather live here than in Virginia Beach.

We are here helping out with a Festival of the Arts at the missions training campus we used to work at. Jon is performing in a band tonight, and we have come in support of my friend Deb who is debuting her first full-length play, "Keeper of the Springs." She did a fantastic writing and directing job. Go, Deb!

It has been nice to be around friends again. In VaBch we don't really know anybody, and we are enjoying the attention we get here in Montana with the pregnancy. These are the people that helped us through the miscarriage in February. It has also been a blessing to have REAL conversations instead of constant small talk. I haven't had a real person-to-person talk with anyone other than Jon or my folks in six months!!!!

The squidge has been weirding me out again. He just has these totally calm periods for a few days where he barely moves. I tend to go and lie slightly on my stomach just to make him mad so he will react. Poor kid -- his mom is a freak! Then, when I have reached my breaking point and want to go to the hospital, he gets all active again like today. Sigh... Jon keeps telling him to stop torturing me, but to no avail. I think he has DH's sense of humour.

My old concern was that I was too huge. Now, since I have been in Montana everyone is amazed that I am six months (well, I will be next week). They say I am small. Argh!!! Then my mind races that the squidge isn't developing properly. I KNOW I wouldn't have any of these worries if we hadn't lost a baby once. But now everything is such a big deal. Thankfully, I am not NEARLY as wacko as I was earlier in the pregnancy.

I got to see my friend Julie's baby yesterday. She is soooooo cute!! Lynna looks like a little china doll but with gobs of hair. She is two weeks now. And, my friend Jenni just had her third baby this morning. I can't wait for mine to come along...

Okay, I gotta run. Blessings to you all and keep in touch!!!!

Love,

Amy H & the Squidge
