Anne's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

December 19, 2000

OK, once again I have almost forgotten to write an entry. Where has my brain gone???

Well, since last week's wonderful entry of "The Hell of Being PG in the Ninth Month," I only have ONE new physical change -- can we say 'hemorrhoid?' OK, so it's actually not so bad. It's a small one and it's not so painful. Actually, it's not painful at all, just a bit itchy. But, on the other hand, it has discouraged me from going to the bathroom as often. But, that's OK too.

I have a doctor appointment tomorrow. Then I go every week. I don't expect anything different to occur. I expect they will check the heart rate of G and ask me if I have any questions and send me on my way.

As far as the baby, I felt his foot the other day on one side of my body and his butt on the other. I think he's going to be very tall. It seemed very strange to feel them so far apart. The only other explanation is that he's not head down anymore and who knows what I was feeling. But, I think his head is still down. When he gets hiccups, they are very low where I'd expect them to be. So, maybe he won't have a big head, just a long body.

My in-laws were in town. They flew in, stayed with some other relatives, then when they got the flu, came to stay with us. I hope I don't get it. My SIL said that if I do (where it comes out both ends), it may put me in labor. But, I don't want a Christmas baby!

We've had quite a bit of snowfall for this part of Kentucky. It's not, accumulatively, a lot, but we've had several 1- to 3-inch snowfalls in the past week. My stepson was out of school four days in the last week. Today would've been his last day before break, but they cancelled it. Oh well!

Anyway, that's it!
