Anne B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

February 8, 2001

29 weeks, 6 days

Well I think we are closer to having a name for this little one. We are leaning toward Ashleigh Rose or Ashleigh Renee. Renee is my middle name so we originally thought we would use that, but Brendan calls the baby Rosie so we are considering Rose. I don't know if I have mentioned it before, but Brendan has stopped calling the baby a yo-yo and now calls her Rosie. He loves the show Calliou and Calliou has a little sister named Rosie. Of course, we have to call Brendan Calliou at home now, but at least he's not calling his sister a yo-yo.

I have been having intense headaches for over a week. The come on very strong and pound from 10-20 minutes on the right side of my head. Then they completely disappear for an hour or two and then they return. On Sunday I was also dizzy and the dizziness continued on into Monday. I called the nurse line at my doctor's office and she recommended that I come in and be evaluated. Greg came with me because he was concerned about me driving while I was dizzy. The doctor asked Greg if I'm normally dizzy. Ha, Ha. He told me to rest for two days and see if it got better. There is really nothing he can do for me. The dizziness is still with me, but it's not as bad. The headaches are still hanging around too. I can't stay home everyday so I'm just trying to get through the day with them, which is hard when you're staring at a computer screen eight hours a day.

The baby is still very active. I love to feel her kick. I only have about 10 weeks to go. I'm so excited to meet her, but I'm going to miss being pregnant so much. I wish I could convince Greg to have baby number three. I don't think it's going to happen!
