32 weeks
Wow! Only eight weeks to go. It sounds much sooner if I say eight weeks rather than two months. I'm becoming more excited and more scared everyday.
I was just in the gift shop at work buying stamps and the sweet woman behind the counter was asking when I was due. She told me that I already look like I have a big baby. How do I take that? I have two months to go. I'm going to make a point to go up to the gift shop in about six weeks so she can see just how huge I am. Someone else was walking behind me in the hallway and she said, "You can always tell when you're walking behind a pregnant lady." I must have the waddle going on. I have to say that I don't feel that big yet. I do have days when I feel like my skin can't get any tighter without rupturing, but I'm not as big as I was with my son.
I am still having my daily headaches. I have the dizziness off and on. I've been trying to drink a lot of water which seems to help a bit. I am also taking two daily walks which amount to two miles. I can really feel a lot of stretching under my tummy when I walk, but it makes my back feel so much better.
Tomorrow morning we take Brendan to his Big Brother class at the hospital. He is getting almost as excited as mom. He wants to see where he was born. He is supposed to bring a doll or stuffed animal to use to practice holding a baby. He has decided on his talking Kipper. He said he will make Kipper talk because the babies in the nursery will like it. I had to explain to him he will probably only be seeing the babies through the glass window in the nursery.
Not much else is new. I see the doctor next week and then I should be going to see him every two weeks. That's just another sign that I'm getting very close to meeting my sweet little girl (or boy, if the technician was wrong).
