Anne B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

October 31, 2000

15 weeks, 4 days

Happy Halloween! We carved our pumpkins last night and Brendan helped me make Halloween pumpkins for the kids at daycare. Brendan has decided that he doesn't want to dress up. He wants to be a Brendan and hand out the candy with mom. I did stop at Target and buy a simple firefighter costume just in case he changes his mind when he sees the other kids stopping at our door. It was inexpensive and he can use it to dress up in later if he just wants to play fireman.

The pregnancy seems to be going well. But I haven't noticed as much movement. The other thing that is concerning me a bit is the fact that my stomach seems smaller. Is that weird? I don't remember that with Brendan. I could hardly button the skirt that I have on today when I wore it last week. Today it buttoned and zipped without a problem. Greg thinks I'm just a worrier, but after the last miscarriage I think that I'm entitled. I go to the doctor next Tuesday so I'll be able to discuss this with him. I'll probably be laughing at myself next week when my pants are too tight again.

Other than that, I am still feeling sick after I eat. And I'm addicted to baked potatoes. I go to Wendy's for lunch just for a potato. Yum. I have to add a packet of their blue cheese dressing and then it's perfect. Everyone at work thinks I'm nuts.

Talk to you next week.

Anne B.
