Anne B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

Introduction

22 weeks, 6 days

Wow! Only four months to go. I can't believe it. Time seems to be flying by. I am still having a lot of pelvic pressure and pain. It wakes me up at night. We went shopping last weekend for a couple of hours and by the time we got home I could hardly walk. This doesn't seem right, but I don't have any bleeding or cramping. I just hope it doesn't continue to get worse over the next four months. Anyone have any advice?

I just signed up for a VBAC class which will be held in February. I also signed the family up for a sibling class for Brendan. It's geared for preschoolers. He'll get a tour of the maternity ward so he'll know where Mommy and Daddy are while he is staying at our house with Grandma Kris. Brendan has been very attached to his daddy for about a week. He says that he is not mommy's baby, he is daddy's big boy. When I asked him who I get, he said that I can have the yo-yo in my tummy. He is still calling her a yo-yo. I have been trying not to talk too much about the baby. I don't want him to be overwhelmed. Meanwhile, the break has been productive. He will only play with Greg at night, so I get a lot done during the evenings. I think I am finally ready for Christmas.

We are going to open our gifts tonight since we will be heading to the relatives on Friday after work. I am so excited. Brendan really knows what is going on this year and I'm dying to see his reaction to a few of his presents. It should be fun.

Happy Holidays!
