Tommy and I had discussed whether we would try to have a baby together. We simply were on the fence for months, but I imagine that now the question is answered! I am just now four weeks pregnant with OUR first baby. I had a pretty good inkling and tested early because I just could not ignore my aching breasts!

When I told Liah that we would have another baby, she told me she doesn’t want another baby! Then she said she wanted TWO babies! Whoa! I explained that I didn’t plan on having two babies, and she broke down crying that she wanted Dylan too! Too cute. Once I reassured her that we were not trading her brother in on a newer model, she calmed some and is beginning to warm up to the idea.

Tommy’s kids are absolutely thrilled, as I would expect from them. They are such wonderful, supportive kids. It is still overwhelming that this baby will make child number six in our combined family! This being my third pregnancy (and I am sure my last), I am trying really hard to do everything “right”. I am taking my prenatals just as I should, and I am drinking tons of water throughout the day. (I never have been big on drinking water.)

I am praying that the sick gods keep themselves at bay. I was really nauseous and miserable for quite a while with Liah. That was not so much so with Dylan, although I was much more exhausted with my second pregnancy. I guess I will just have to wait and see!

My mom predicted the sex of both Liah and Dylan immediately upon my telling her of my pregnancies, and she was right both times! She has, of course, done the same for this pregnancy, and she tells me this baby is a boy. But, this is the first time that I’ve had any intuition one way or the other, and I feel lots of girl vibes!!! My husband refuses to venture a guess one way or the other. Miranda thinks girl also. And that’s all the votes I have!

I look forward to this diary and the entries, and to being a part of the iparenting community. I’ve been a long-time diary reader, and I am glad to be sharing with all of you! Please drop by on my TTM board anytime, and I hope you all enjoy!
