Can it be possible that another full week has gone by??? Where does the time go? With my first pregnancy, it DRAGGED... with my 2nd, things were still kinda slow... but this time around - man! It seems like time is just flying by.

My morning sickness is almost completely gone; I still have some evening sickness left, but it is really due to tiredness. I wonder some days how long I'll be able to keep on with the strains of keeping babies all day and then coming home and trying to do the best for my own kids each evening. I'm telling you, my husband is an angel from above. He is doing the majority of the cooking and cleaning for me in addition to the amount he works. He also gets the kids fed and ready for bed most evenings and allows me time to wallow on the couch. I really can't help myself - I am just so exhausted in the evenings. I don't know what I'd do without him. He is just the best!

I had an OB appt. Friday and everything looks great. The h/b was right at 160 (go, Pink Team!!!), I was measuring exactly 13 weeks, and all is good. We scheduled an ultrasound for our next visit, and that will be on Sept. 3rd. I had been on the fence about finding out the sex of this baby, as I have my girl and my boy, but Tommy really wants to know. So, we will - he is just such a sweetheart to me, and that is a small sacrifice to make. Now that I know we'll be finding out, I'm anxious! My mom still swears it's a boy, but she's the only one. Of course, she's also never been wrong...

I had a rough week at work last week... so, here goes. When I had my OB appt. Friday, one of the other girls that works in the center thought that it would be "funny" to call my OB office to "verify" that I was really missing work for a valid reason. So, she calls the office and IMPERSONATES me! As in, "Yes, this is Cara Hewitt and I was wondering if you could tell me what time my appt. was today - I've forgetten." !!! Hello, can you say ILLEGAL? I don't have a clue what in the world she was thinking! Luckily for me, there are some smart receptionists working at my OB office. I had already had my appt. and checked out about 10 minutes earlier. They put her on hold twice, and when they got the office manger to come on the line, she had hung up. They immediately called me to password protect all of my files. I was, needless to say, pissed. I went to the director of the center and basically told them that if this person returned to work, that I would not. It was so much more of a mess than I can even begin to write, but obviously, I needed to get this off my chest. We will see what happens...

We are going home (to middle GA) to go to a wedding this weekend, and this small thing has me excited. I will get to see my husband in a suit, and I will get to wear a dress, and we will have an evening out just the two of us! (Can you tell we don't get out much?) My parents will keep the kids, and we won't even need a sitter! How 'bout them apples?

Hope everyone is doing well, and I'll talk to you soon!
