29w1d!

I am well into my third trimester now!!! Everything is going really well. I am seeing the doctor every two weeks. I also had the GTT test last week, and all went well. My appointment was at 8:15 am, so at least I wasn't already starving. The orange drink is not all that bad to me... at that point I'm thirsty and a little hungry, so it just kinda goes right down. I hear that a lot of people have a hard time with it, but I happen to like orange soda, so that probably helps. I remember when I was pregnant with Liah, I was offered the choice of Lemon-lime drink, Orange drink, or (get this!) a cup of jelly beans! I opted for the jelly beans, but I have to tell you - they were the yucky cheap kind and they got awful chewy and sweet to try to finish the entire cup in five minutes! I have bruises on both my arms from drawing blood, but I guess that's one of the prices you pay for motherhood, isn't it?

Baby Jay is really active! He rolls and kicks and has hiccups and pushes on my bladder and gets me in the ribs constantly now! I have not the slightest idea anymore how he is lying, and I'm not very good at "guess that bump", so I'll just have to wait a few more weeks to see if the midwives can tell. My biggest complaints at the time are the chronic heartburn and the fact that I *always* feel like I have to pee, then get in the bathroom only to go trickle, trickle. Ugh! I am up several times at night, and sleep is becoming difficult for me. I'm also restless and am trying my best to avoid leg cramps. I still feel really good throughout the day, though! I have another OB appt. Weds. morning, and then the next morning I have a 3D Ultrasound scheduled! I am so excited about that! But I think that Tommy is even more excited. It's almost like seeing a true picture of your baby in the womb, and the pictures I've seen online are amazing! If anyone has any experiences they'd like to share about having a 3D u/s, I'd love to hear from you!

After my GTT last week, I had a coupon from my wonderful, wonderful husband (have I mentioned how much I love Tommy?) for an hour-long aromatherapy pregnancy massage. It was like heaven, and I actually really hit it off with the massage therapist! She has a 3 yr. old son who wants a reindeer for Christmas - too cute.

We had a wonderful Turkey Day! My parents drove up and Miranda and Corey (Tommy's "younger" two) were able to come and spend the day with us also. Everyone pitched in and we all cooked throughout the day without rushing. We played cards in between doing chores in the kitchen, and it went really well! Dinner was delicious and we all enjoyed the day and each other's company.

Guess that about wraps it up! Hope everyone has a good week!
