Week 30 - 10 to go!!!

Hello all. Wow is time flying! It seems like every time I look at the calendar 10 days have passed instead of one.

Well, here we are swelling and getting more uncomfortable by the day. Don't get me wrong - I love being pregnant and feeling Aubrey move inside me all day long ( and sometimes all night!), but sometimes my emotions run wild and I am just ready to cry. Why oh why did it have to get so warm so fast? Oh the joys!! Anyway, on to the good stuff! We have one class left which is a breastfeeding class. I am really looking forward to it. Our instructor is defiantly pro-breastfeeding and is constantly telling us why it is better. Which is just fine with me since before I set foot in the class I knew I wanted to breastfeed. Heck, before I got pregnant I knew I wanted to breastfeed. We went on our tour of the OB unit. I had seen it before but my husband hadn't and he was really impressed. The rooms are really nice and even the small ones are big. Oh, how I am praying for a normal delivery!

We finally bought our bedding last week. We still have so much to do with the room! I have to sort through all the clothes that friends have given us to see what we have and what we still need. I am currently working on painting the shelves for the room - at least I am when the weather and my work schedule permit! I am just so ready for her to be here. Impatient little me! Maybe because of all the joys of the third trimester? Nah, it can't be!

The bigger I get the less people seem to judge me and the more they ask me when I am due and do we know what sex the baby is. How odd. I know I didn't age considerably in just a few months! But work is more pleasant now that I don't feel like half the people who walk in the door are judging me. We had a woman in last night who is four months along and on bed rest until delivery. Yikes! I truly feel for her. She has lost so much weight that she doesn't even look a little pregnant. I am so glad that was not me. I thank the Lord every day that I have had it so easy.

When I had my one hour glucose test it came back a little high so I had to go in for a three hour test. Tonight the nurse called and said that it turned out just fine. Thank goodness! I was getting a little worried and so was my husband. The less complications the better.

Nothing much is going on here so I am going to end now. Belly rubs to all!
