18 weeks, 22 to go!!

Well, I was right about my doctor not being very happy with me when I went to see him last Tuesday. I gained 6 pounds in three weeks, making a total of 21 pounds from the start of this pregnancy. He told me to cut all salt out of my diet, absolutely no fried foods or fast foods, and to restrict my diet to only veggies, fruits, meats, two pieces of bread a day, and one serving of either potatoes or rice. Let me tell you, I have been soooo hungry this week, my stomach rumbles non-stop. The baby’s heartbeat was 147, which is two beats lower from the previous appointment. My doctor scheduled my ultrasound for next Friday (3/31), and I am so excited. My husband keeps telling me that he knows what it is and he will tell me right before we go in to the appointment. I hope that this little booger isn’t going to be prude, because my mother is driving from Wichita Falls so we can go to Canton Trade Days (monthly flea market) and look at this crib she has been telling me about. Then on Sunday we are going to Babies “R” Us to do the most exciting part, registering. I am so excited now. Our pregnancy has become “real” to me now that my belly is growing and I will already be finding out the sex of the baby in just seven days. When I first found out that we were expecting, I thought that being pregnant was going to feel like an eternity, but it has been just the opposite. Well that’s about all that is going on with me this week, so see y'all next one.

Best Wishes,

Chevie and bebe
