Week 19, 21 to go!

IT'S A BOY!!!

We went to the ultrasound on Friday and found out that we are having a little boy and so far everything looks just fine on him. All his measurements were normal and he weighs about 11 ounces. We already have his name picked out but are still torn on his middle name. I like Jayden Lee but my husband likes Jayden Jason. Tell me what you all think so we can make this choice easier. If we can not come to an agreement we may just end up naming him Jayden Jason Lee Jones. During the ultrasound he kept opening and closing his mouth as if he were trying to talk to us, but of course he was just eating lunch or mimicking breathing. Either way, it was too cute! I kept laughing at him and it would shake him all around! He also kept bringing his hand up to his little eye as if he were rubbing it. They doctor only gave me two pictures of him, one of his face and body and one his boy parts. I would share them with you all but I don't have a scanner and I don't feel comfortable sending them through the mail. Next time I go for my ultrasound I will ask for extras, though. My mom drove in from Wichita Falls to see the ultrasound and to also go to Trades Days in Canton, a once-a-month huge flea market. On Friday after the ultrasound we all went to eat, then my mom and I went to the mall and Babies "R" Us just to get a few ideas on how to do his nursery. I decided that I am going to go with the Noah's Ark theme from Babies "R" Us, and also decided that all of his travel stuff will be done in blue jean. I already picked out the stroller and carrier that I want. It is the Osh Kosh Blue Jean model and is a stroller and carrier combo. I absolutely love it! My mom also went ahead and bought me the Osh Kosh blue jean diaper bag, tote bag and wipes holder. When we went to the mall she bought Jayden his first Tommy Hilfiger outfit, it is so adorable. She got him a pair of blue jean overalls, a Tommy hat, a bib that says "Born in the Millennium," and a bunch of socks. We went to Canton all day on Saturday and found some knick-knacks for his nursery. I bought him his first cross to hang in his room, a shirt that says, "When my daddy made me, he was just showing off!" and a shirt for his Nana (my mom) and a shirt for his Grandma (my MIL). My mom bought him a Noah's Ark figurine and a Noah's Ark bank. They are both so precious. My mom is very excited about him because this is her first grandchild, so she has offered to buy him his crib, dresser, changing table and the crib set. Not to mention she will probably end up buying his stroller, too. I have a wonderful mom, and all her help takes a lot of pressure of me and my DH since we are on a tight budget. While my mom and I went shopping all day Saturday and Sunday, my DH went with his mom and sister to Shreveport, LA to do some gambling. Luckily my DH came home with a profit of $100. Since I am only 20, now we are planning a trip for Vegas after Jayden is born around October or November. I can't wait, I'm always being left behind or left in hotel rooms every time I go to Louisiana or Mississippi. Well, I don't have my next doctor appointment until the 10th, but will still keep you updated on our daily life. Hope every one is doing well. Talk to you later.

Thinking of all of you,

Chevie and Jayden
