Week 20, 20 to go!

Last week was a pretty uneventful and tiresome week for me, so not much to report here. I do think, though, that I have been finally feeling Jayden move around, though. When I lay on my back or my side I feel little jerking movements either under my belly button or just below it. When I had the ultrasound done, his bottom was right under my belly button, so I bet he has been kicking me. I told my husband that he is going to take after him because of all the kicks and/or punches that I have been feeling. My husband takes kickboxing, so naturally he is going to enroll Jayden in martial arts as soon as he turns 5 or so.

Does anyone else have dreams about being a horrible mother? I keep having these dreams where I either leave Jayden at home alone at 4 months old, I only feed him once a day because I keep losing all his bottles and formula, or I never have diapers. Last night was the third time I have had this particular dream. Then some nights I have good dreams about us taking family outings. It has become very frustrating because I wake up feeling so guilty and ashamed, and I can't seem to shake the thought of it only being a dream. If anyone else is having peculiar dreams tell me about them on my "talk to me" board.

Well, today I have another doctor appointment at 2:30. I like going to see him every three weeks instead of four because it seems like time is just flying by. I can't believe I actually made it halfway there. My mom miscarried at five months, though, so I am still a little worried about something happening. I think as long as I say my daily prayers and watch my daily activities, God will do the rest to take care of our baby. Well, I have got to get back to work, so I will be talking to you all next week. God bless everyone and best wishes to those that might actually have their babies within this next week.

Best Regards,

Chevie and Jayden
