21 weeks, and 19 to go!

Well ladies, this past week has been one of the worst since I have been pregnant. It started Monday when I went to the doctor and got my rear end chewed out for gaining to much weight again in a three-week period. Actually it wasn't a real butt chewin', it was more like a lecture. I gained another 4 pounds in three weeks, unfortunately, and my doctor told me that I must stick to the diet that he recommended, or else I would be as big as a house. How dare he say that I will be that big! My blood pressure was normal and Jayden's heart beat is still stronger than ever. Then from Tuesday till Friday I was so sleepy and cranky all day long. I can't seem to keep my eyes open in between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. I have been taking my iron pills but this hasn't helped out at all. On Friday I went to the tire shop to get new wheels put on the car, and they were sold out. The funny thing about it is that I spent two days in advance calling and checking on prices and inventory. The next thing I know I get up there and they no longer have the wheels. We were going to my Mom's on Saturday, so we had to get them done right then. So we went to another Discount Tire Co., and they were so helpful and patient with us, and we got them fixed on Saturday morning, but the bill totalled $500, money we did not have at the time to spend. We went to my mom's as planned to help out at a carnival that benefited crippled children and we got rained and hailed on. After leaving the carnival we all split up to get our cars under protection and I had left my driver's license in another car. Of all times I got pulled over by police officers in the middle of the storm and harassed for about 15 minutes. Finally, my husband pulled up and gave them my license and they let me go. We got back on Sunday night, but on Monday morning I woke up with a severe stomach upset. So instead of going to work on Monday I stayed home and Jason went, but on the way he got into a wreck! After telling me not to hit any curbs or mess up the wheels in anyway, he goes out and hits a Honda Accord! I feel like I have been living in a nightmare for a week now. It wouldn't be so bad if we hadn't dropped full coverage just a short time ago for liability only, so now we have to pay for the damages to our car. So now here we are broker than broke with a broken car. But at least I'm feeling a little better, right? Maybe next week I will have a more positive update, so until then everyone take care!

Miserable in Texas,

Chevie and Jayden
