Week 26, 14 to go!!

Hello, Preggos!

First I would like to congratulate Kim and Melissa on the birth of their babies; I hope both of them are doing well and are enjoying their newborns. By the way, Katrina, Laura, Laurel, Lea and Lisa... Jaydon and I are rooting for you and hope that your babies arrive real soon.

Well, this past week flew by me so fast, I can't even begin to tell you what I did without having to look at my calendar. Jaydon, though, has decided that enough is enough of scaring mommy and has been acting like his normal self again. This past week he has been so active and I absolutely love it. I don't even care if he wakes me up or hurts me because it is so soothing and reassuring to feel his karate chops. Never thought I would be saying that sort of thing. He has successfully learned how to kick or hit in different places at the same time. I imagine him in my belly throwing a temper tantrum, kicking his legs out and throwing his arms back and hitting my stomach every which way... LOL. I really appreciate all the messages that I have received lately regarding Jaydon's lack of movements. I think that all of you are wonderful and I'm so glad that I have you peers right here with me throughout the rest of this pregnancy. It can be tough being only 20 and not knowing what to expect, but I feel like I have a hundred extra mothers out there watching over me and guiding me through this. Thanks again to all of your good advice and tips.

Today I have doctor appointment at 4. I can't wait for him to tell me that I was acting completely paranoid last week... Oh well, poo on him. Today I will schedule my next ultrasound/sonogram, or whatever and will also schedule my glucose test. I can't wait to listen to Jaydon's heartbeat today, I just know it is going to be high since he has been kicking and moving all day long. My DH was able to feel him all last week and weekend long, he even mentioned how he had been going non-stop for what seemed liked days. Sunday morning I woke up around 10 or so and he was throwing a party or something in there and I told Jason to feel my stomach and as soon as he did he was assaulted... Jaydon kicked his hand like two or three times in a row. I told Jason that he was telling us that he wanted pancakes for breakfast, but unfortunately we didn't have any mix and I wasn't about to go to the store, so this craving will have to wait a few days.

I have two weeks before I leave for my trip. I picked up my plane tickets last week. I still feel horrible for going against my doctors orders, but as of right now I feel fine, so I will continue with my plans. Not unless someone else can come up with an argument to change my mind... LOL.

One more thing before I leave: I'm finally getting to go register Friday, and I am so excited. I plan on registering for the co-sleeper but would like to know if anyone else out there has one and what is your opinion about them? Are they worth $300 if you plan on breastfeeding or are you better off saving your money and going with the traditional bassinet? Please let me know on my Talk to Me Board. It would be greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week full of joy and happiness!! Till next week, belly hugs to all...

Chevie and Jaydon
