28 weeks, 12 to go!

Hello Ladies,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and got plenty of well needed rest as I did. I have not been all that tired lately, but on Saturday I ended up sleeping for 15 hours! My iron level must be back down or something because I just crashed Friday night around 2 a.m. then didn't get back up until 5 on Saturday. I felt awful the rest of the day because I had just slept it away and didn't accomplish anything. I have a busy week ahead of me so I probably needed it so I can keep up. I leave on Thursday for Biloxi and will return next Monday, so my entry will be a day late next week. I am so excited about getting to go on a mini vacation before Jaydon arrives, because everyone knows that it will be a long time for the next vacation. Anyway, the beach is calling my name and I am there ... in about three days.

Well, I have a doctor appointment today -- not much to do, though. He has me coming in now every two weeks and it does make the time go by quickly. Today he will just weigh me, tell me my exact test results from the GTT, and scold me on gaining too much weight. I will have my next appointment the same week as the ultrasound so June is going to fly by me and before I know it July will be here, which will also fly by. In July I will be seeing the doc every week. I will turn 21 and be having my baby shower. How fast time seems to be passing me right now is amazing. I hear, though, the last month will creep by like a very slow tortoise. I have now officially entered my third trimester and so far I haven't had any major complaints, but give me another month or so and I'm sure that will change.

Well some news about Jaydon... He is going to be a kickboxer just like his Daddy one day because he causes extreme pain when he kicks sometimes. He has started issuing sneak attacks on me, too. Everything will be all calm and you can tell that he must be sleeping, then WHAM... he takes me by surprise. It literally makes me jump out of my chair, because every day they seem to be getting harder and harder. The other morning he wasn't moving around as much as he normally does so I started telling him to move around and to give Mommy a big kick.. sure enough about 30 minutes later I was watching TV and out of nowhere I was assaulted from within. I love it, though; I wouldn't give those jabs and kicks up for anything. I am so in love with my little boy and can hardly stand having to wait three more months to hold him, kiss him, smell his skin, feel his baby soft skin, cuddle with him and most of all just love him. I can't even seem to wipe this grin off my face as I write this just thinking about having him around.

Well, I hope that every one has a wonderful week and feels as content with their pregnancy as I do at this point. For those of you that are in the stages of barfing every morning (or all day), trust me, you have so much to look forward to and the barfing is worth every minute of it. Everyone wish me luck with my plane ride, hopefully I won't be sent into premature labor... I will talk to you all next week.

Having a Blast in Texas,

Chevie and Jaydon
