37.5 Weeks, 2.5 to go!!

Well, I am one more week closer to being able to hold my firstborn son. I am getting so very excited, I can hardly stand myself. His room is just about ready and all his clothes have been washed. The only thing I have left to do now is pack my bag for the hospital.

I had a doctor appointment last Wednesday and I had not dilated anymore and my cervix was still pretty "thick." In my last entry I forgot to mention that my doctor is only going to induce me if my cervix has softened any by the 16th, and that's already next week. :) If I have softened, then we will make an induction appointment for the following week. If not, he will let me go to my due date. I do not understand the reasoning behind this yet. We already have the day picked out, but I am not spilling the beans just yet. I have an appointment today also. I kind of hope that I have made progress because the day we picked to be induced is a special day for me.

Well, I am also very pleased to say that we finally got a court date set up for my stepson. We go to court on the 28th so hopefully we will get to see him that next weekend. Jaydon should be here by then, too. I haven't seen my stepson in about six months and I am looking forward to seeing how much he has grown. I miss him so much. All this nonsense is about to change though for good. If his mother decides to pull this crap again she will get in big trouble since these orders will be final and not temporary. Wish us luck in court!!

Well, gotta run. I want to do a few errands before going to my appointment. I will keep everyone posted on my board if anything happens between today and my next entry. Till then, everyone take care.
