38.5 weeks, 1.5 to go!

Well, almost there! Not much has changed for me cervix-wise. I went to the doctor last Wednesday and he said that I am still 1 centimeter and my cervix has softened a little bit. Jaydon's heart rate seems to be dropping lower and lower with each visit. This last visit it was only 131. I asked the nurse what could be causing it and she said that the bigger he gets the lower the heart rate will be. She also told me not to worry unless it got down to the low 120s. I have another appointment this Wednesday and this is when they will tell me for sure if I'm going to be induced next week. I can't believe that the time is already here or close, anyway. Like I have said before, this pregnancy has flown by and has been rather uneventful and uncomplicated. I am very fortunate to have had such an easy pregnancy. Let's just hope that labor and delivery is as easy.

I am really looking forward to getting my body back after baby. I have already started thinking out my workout routine for when I start working with my mom. I'm going to be at her house by 9 a.m., leave Jaydon with her and go run for an hour every morning. Hopefully I will be able to get a new health club membership about six weeks after he is born. There is also a nice tanning salon just a block form my mom's new house so I can get my color back pretty quick too. My goal is to be back to my pre-preggo weight by or before Christmas. If not then, definitely by next summer. I have a very positive frame of mind on this and will continue to keep one.

Well, got to run, have to finish up my "last week stuff" here at work. Take care everyone,
Chevie and Jaydon
