Hello everyone!
Well this has been a very long week. I decided over the last weekend that I would change to going to school only part time. So, I had to meet with financial aid in order to find out what kind of effect it would have on my aid. After lots of meetings and talking the financial aid people realized they had awarded me aid and I was no longer eligible. So, now I am having to pay the price of their mistake. I am so angry. They told me if I dropped to half time I would still have to pay full time price. There was only one option and that was to take out a high interest loan to cover the cost. So, I decided to take a leave of absence for the semester and wait until the fall because there is another two classes I need offered then. I would just prefer to take that loan out then.
I went to the doctor yesterday. Dave and the girls went with me. Everything looks great, and the baby's heartbeat sounded good. Music to my ears really. I talked to my doctor about inducing me because our family and friends live far away. We were afraid Dave would have to drive me to the hospital and drop me off while he stayed home with the girls. She was very supportive, and I have had Pitocin during my last two labors and did fine with it. So, she said we would look at everything the closer I got and plan for a date at that time. I was very relieved. My ultrasound is scheduled for March 13th. We will definately be finding out the sex. We did with both of the girls and I really like knowing ahead of time.
Later that evening we went out to eat and had a lot of fun. We shared a dessert with the girls and they loved it. We then went birthday shopping for Lauren. Sunday she turns one! We also had to go shoe shopping for both of them. They both love their new shoes. Allyson picked hers out herself. She was trying to decide between 102 Dalmations and Winnie the Pooh. She finally decided on Winnie the Pooh. I was glad because I think they will match better with all of her clothes. We just spent the whole day together and it was a lot of fun.
We had Lauren's party today. Dave's parents came up and I decorated the house. We got great pictures of her eating the cake. It was so much fun. I think Allyson had just as much fun as Lauren. I just can't believe she is already one.
Dave and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day. We went to Red Lobster for dinner and sat for an hour and half! We ate slowly, talked sat quietly, and all without any interruption. It was so nice. We were also going to go to a movie, but we live in a small town and there weren't any features after the 7pm movies. That was disappointing, but we rented a movie instead.
Well, I guess that is all I have this time around. Hope everyone has a great week.
Take care,
Christina
