11 weeks...
Yippee, almost through the first trimester!
Things have been really busy around here. Thank goodness you are a really good peanut and I have a really good pregnancy so far. (I don't want to jinks myself as we still have a long way to go.)
Mom and Dad are back in school. I am not sure how I am managing though because I tire out easily. All the reading puts me instantly to sleep. I just keep telling myself 2 more weeks and we leave for vacation! Mommy and daddy along with auntie Susan and her boyfriend are going to southwest Florida! We have a condo on the beach for 4 days. After that we are heading to the keys for 2 days and then back up to Bonita Springs to visit your grandparents. It will be a much-needed break for us all.
Grandpa John is doing so-so. They just finished his radiation and he tolerated that very well. He just recently started complaining of a stiff neck. The doctors think it is from the radiation and said to give it a few weeks and it should go away. I sure do hope so; he has been through so much!
You my little peanut are growing fast. We had our second prenatal appointment today. You daddy took some time off from work again to go with us. He said he enjoys going and hopes he can manage to go to them all. I hope so, that would be wonderful! I love sharing this whole experience with him. Today was very special for us both. We heard your heart beat for the first time today. I just started crying; as I still can't believe after all these years I am pregnant and am becoming a mommy. Finally my biggest goal in life is coming true. It was so neat to have a little peak into your world.
The weather here in Michigan had been cold and snowy. I hate SNOW. I cannot wait till spring when everything starts growing and thawing. I just don't understand people who enjoy this winter thing. I am a warm, summer, water, person.
Well back to reading for school, yuck! Lets see how long I can stay awake.
Baby wishes to all,
Dawn & Baby
