Hello from warm, sunny Florida!

If you can't tell we are on vacation. It is a much-needed vacation. We are on spring break from school and every year we head to Florida to get away from the cold, yucky winter of our great state of Michigan!

So far it has been sunny and warm. As soon as we started to feel the warmer weather, I instantly felt better. Not that I have felt all that bad being pregnant. The only "symptoms" I have is visiting the bathroom 3 or 4 times a night and wanting to sleep ALL THE TIME! I have been very lucky with morning sickness. I have only had 4 days where I actually threw up. I am nausea when I fist awake but have learned to move slow and eat some crackers about 5 min. before getting out of bed. That really has helped.

We are leaving for Key West tomorrow morning. I am so excited as I have never been there. We will be spending 3 days and 2 nights down that way. I hope to go swimming with the dolphins. We may go snorkeling which is something I have always wanted to do. Your papa says we have to wait and see how I feel. The doctor said I could do those things but just to wait and see how I was feeling. I am determined to be feeling fine or at least that's what they will all think! I am not missing the opportunity to swim with dolphins. I am just pregnant not a fragile, breakable, porcelain doll.

I called back home today to see how grandpa john was doing. When we left on Friday he was put back in the hospital. His neck is really sore and stiff. Grandma isn't telling us much except for they are checking his spinal fluid for cancer. She keeps saying to me you guys.. meaning your auntie Susan (who along with her boyfriend is on vacation with us) and I, need to just enjoy this week of vacation. What is happening or will happen can't be changed and we will all deal with whatever next week as a family when we get home. I hate when she says that as we still think about them and talk about them through out the day. We were debating whether to come or not and grandpa said we had to go. They were only going to be doing test and that always takes a week to do and get back the results. He is right, that usually is the case. It still was a hard decision to make. I called your grandpa john today just to wish him a happy Packzi day. He was really drugged but it felt good to talk to him. Susan was talking with him when they had to let us go because the doctors came in. My mom promises to call later and let us know what they say.

Today we are going shopping and to the beach for a few hours. We are trying to keep me out of the sun because on Monday when we went to the beach for just 2 1/2 hrs I got fried! I even had sunscreen on. Needless to say I look like a lobster. We are planning on having dinner at the beach and then going for a walk when the sun is going down. I love that time, as that is when a lot of the dolphins come out to play. Its no wonder your nursery is going to be "under the sea". I hope to find lots of neat things for your room today when we go shopping :)

I can't believe we are 14 weeks pregnant already... where is the time going?
