Dawn L's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

February 10, 2001

22 weeks, 5 days

I had an interesting weekend, so I thought I would update my diary. On Friday night Kirt and Baylie and I went for chinese food ( my favorite), then to register at Babies R Us. During all the walking around I started to feel relly bad. I couldn't breath very well, and I felt like I was having super bad cramps at the top of my belly. We hurried and left and got some water for me. I laid back in my seat, and things seemed a bit better. If I sat up then it hurt again. The same happened with walking or anything... I ended up taking a bath with a washcloth on my tummy. I felt SOOO much better. After that I just felt so achy, like I had done sit-ups all day. All weekend I've felt achy, so maybe it was some serious stretching. I didn't feel a start and stop like Braxton Hicks, so I figure it wasn't that.

When I went to the hospital a ouple of weeks ago, my blood pressure., which is normally very good, was 112/68. They were happy with that. I went to the doctor that Friday (2/2), and it was 128/72. i was concerned that it had gone up, but the doctor said unless my top number was over 140 or the bottom was over 90, we were fine. I did decide to keep track at the Eckerds Drug Store here and there for peace of mind. Today I went in to check because I have had some mildly painful swelling in my hands since my appointment. It was 132/66. So it seems like it's going up slowly. I may call the doctor tomorrow to let her know what happened Friday night and that my blood pressure seems to be going up. I'll update my journal with what she said, especially since not much is going on until my next appointment on March 1st.

Until next time,
Dawn
