37weeks, 5 days
Okay. My apointment was pretty short and swet, so I'll get to the point. The doctor was very surprised that the baby had turned around. She said because the placenta is anterior that it would not be safe to turn her. Apparently the placenta could tear and cause an emergency situation. So we decided to schedule a c-section on Tuesday, June 5th. I also have a sonogram scheduled in case she turns before then.
I feel comfortable with the decision we've made. As soon as she said she advised against it I knew my decision was made. If she didn't feel comfortable, then how could I?
So, I suppose that June 5th will be Camryn's birthdate unless I go into labor in which case they will have to do the c-section immediately. I won't have any more appointments. The next time I go in is to have the staples removed a week later. I assume I will think of something to do an entry about between now and then, so I'm sure I'll have at least one more entry.
