Well, here we are and it's my due date. You're 1 week and two days old. We've had lots of visitors and admirers. You're such a beautiful baby. I've enjoyed every moment of the time we've had together so far. You're the perfect addition to our family. We're now complete.
Baylie just loves to hug and kiss you. She is such a great big sister, always running to help get something, wiping spit-up, and giving you your pacifier. She loves you.
Daddy is such a sucker for you already. He's always happy to hold you, burp you and change those horrible diapers you make. He loves you.
I have a soft spot in my heart for you. We wanted another baby for so long and went through so much to have you. I appreciate everything so much more this time around. Every whimper, stretch, and cry out for me makes me smile. I love you.
As you can see we're all so happy to have you as a member of our family. We know you were hand-picked especially for us by God. We look forward to watching you grow and learn about things. Your sister has already promised to teach everything she knows. But I'm sure you'll have a mind of your own!
This diary is a special gift from me to you so you can see exactly what happened and how I felt all through out the time I was pregnant with you. I hope you keep it always and cherish it. Someday you will read it to your children and understand exactly how much a mother loves her baby.
All my love, Mommy
