Dawn L's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

September 15, 2001

9/15/01
14 weeks old

We are still glued to the t.v. at this point watching coverage of the horrific tragedy last Tuesday.

Last night was the third night in a row that Camryn slept through without any feedings. She was going to bed about 9 and eating around 4 each morning. Now she goes to bed about 8p.m. and sleeps until about 7a.m. It's really quite impressive for a three month old!

I think Camryn's taking after her sister. She's had watery eyes and a runny nose for a couple of days. Now today I can tell her two bottom teeth are coming up. They haven't broken through, but are closer than even yesterday they were. Baylie had the same two teeth break through when she was 3 months too. Camryn's been sleeping like crazy. I think that's partly her way of dealing with it. Since sje's so young it's hard to comfort her. She can't use a teething ring or suck on a cold wash cloth. Luckily, she's found her hands and slobbers all over them. She gave up the binky last week, and sucks her ring and middle finger. It looks like the "I love you" symbol. Ir's sweet now, but ask me in four years!

Cereal and practicing sitting up with support are the next things for us. Kirt hates that he's already growing out of her clothes. She was 12lbs. 11 oz. Monday. Unlike her sister, she's not off the charts in weight or height and fits into the clothes for her actual age!
