I haven't had a chance to update my diary since we had the test done last Wednesday. The upper GI showed that Camryn does have Reflux disease. It is treatable with medicine, so she will not have to have surgery. Thank God!
I started Camryn on her Zantac on Thursday. Friday morning was bad, but she hadn't thrown up since then. Until today. She's thrown up a lot today. I guess I will call tomorrow to let them know. I hate for her to be in pain or uncomfortable. The doctor said if she still throws up on the Zantac, she would add another medicine. :o( A friend of mine told me today that her daughter is on that medicine too and she has to have it 4 times a day along with the Zantac twice a day. I've been putting the medicine in cereal, because she seems to be able to hold that down better. I never thought of the fact that it would be hard for her to keep her medicine down due to the reflux!
I'll try to keep things updated as much as possible...
