The Pediatric Gastroentonalogist returned a call to my pediatrician and they came up with some more things to test. I've essentally was on the phone from 11:30 to 3 today trying to set-up al the appointments and get all the referrals. *sigh* I'm very tired. At least it's all sunk in more. I am still a bit overwhelmed!
So, we're on Prilosec twice a day now, instead of once. We have an appointment tomorrow to do bloodwork and urine tests. Monday I have an appointment with the Lactation Consultant to figure out if I'm producing enough breastmilk for her. We'll weigh her then I will feed her. We will then weight her again to see how much she is getting.
On Wednesday (Halloween) we will go to the Pedi GI to see what they say. Then we have a sweat test on November 8th. I know that test checks for cystic fibrosis. I will research these things more tomorrow when I have time. I also have a friend whose child has been through a lot of this.
Mom told me my brother had an absobtion problem, so I let Dr. Mitchell know that. He apparently was very sick for a long time. He's well now, so I guess it all works out.
My last day teaching will be Tuesday now. Everything has just piled up on me and I think I need that time for me and the baby. Im supposed to pump for 3 minutes at the befor I nurse to get to the hindmilk, then nurse, then pump 10-15 minutes more. I'm sure there's lots more to say, but I'm too drained to remember.
I worry, of course... I really hate for Baylie to have to go to all these people's houses while I take Camryn to these appointments, but I got a different friend for each one so she will have fun hanging out with each of them.
