11 weeks
I can't believe that time has flown by so quickly. It's a busy time of year, and until January we're booked with parties and things to do. Before I know it I will be going for my sonogram to find out which type of baby I will have.
A neighbor of mine is expecting. She's due Dec. 22. I was excited to hear she's going to be a stay-at-home-mom. I think that's great. My other neighbor is too. She's having a boy, so maybe if I do too they can play together. They'd be in the same grade also. I know it's not that big of a deal to bond over the possibility of having a boy too, but ALL of my friends have girls. EVERY ONE of them!!! It's weird! My poor son would be dressed up and invited to tea parties a lot. Kirt wouldn't go for that! I'll have a better idea of what we might have after we hear the heartbeat on Dec. 1. They say if it's fast it's a girl and slow indicates a boy. My daughter's was about the same as this one was on the sonogram, so that's leaning toward girl already. I do know of three or so people whose predictions were wrong, so you never know. The nurse told me last week that if the doctor can hear the heartbeat at the next appointment I can go off the progesterone. I'll be 12 weeks, so there shouldn't be any problems hearing it. Both my daughter and honey are coming so they can meet the doctor. I really don't have news until the appointment, so I'll end this.
