Dawn L's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

Introduction

15 weeks

I went to the doctor on Friday. It was nice to see her again. I saw the nurse the past two times I went. I heard the heartbeat very faintly. It was sweet and still very fast. I also asked about her policy on large babies. I explained that Baylie was born at 41 weeks after my doctor's partner had pity on me and induced because I had a horrible rash that I couldn't stand any longer. It went away about two hours after I gave birth. Sadly, she said that may happen again. Then Baylie had meconium in her fluid and was 9 pounds, 3 ounces. She said that it was up to me, but that she could induce me at 39 weeks to try and prevent some of those problems. I was so happy! I wanted to ask her to go ahead and schedule it!

I go back on Friday, January 5 for my big sonogram. We'll find out whether Baylie's having a brother or sister. It's great timing, because Grampa is in San Antonio and we were going down to see him that weekend anyway. So we can tell him if we're having a boy that we'll name after him. Our names are: Camryn Elizabeth or Noah Charles (after Grampa). I've fallen in love with the names.
